To celebrate the release of Wave 3, there are some much-requested new additions to BITB :)
Wager your friends for ETH! Place some ETH on the outcome of a battle for extra excitement - the winner receives the total ETH wagered by both players (minus 3% platform fee).
To play, select '$ Wager' in the Entry Fee section of the Create Battle screen, then select your wager amount. You can select from 0.01 ETH, 0.03ETH and 0.1ETH.
Alternatively, you can choose to join a battle someone else has set up in the Battle Lobby screen. You will see the Entry Fee on the right side, next to the 'Join' button. Choose a battle corresponding to the amount you wish to wager (or one marked 'Free' if you do not wish to wager at all).
The wager amount is a single amount you commit to wager, no matter the the D1SK type and Wave, or whether the battle is 1, 3 or 5 D1SKs.
When you match with your opponent and are ready to start your battle, you will both sign a transaction that will escrow all the ETH wagered into a secure one-time use wallet, specific to that battle.
Play your battle as normal, then at the end the winnings will be automatically transferred to the wallet of the person who kicked ass!
DISCLAIMER: The Wagering feature is geo-blocked and not available in countries where laws prevent such activities. If you are in a country where these activities are legal, you must still attest that you are of legal age before you are able to use this feature, via a pop-up modal.
At the time of writing, geo-blocked countries include Australia, Austria, France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom, USA.
Ever wanted to battle your friends for the entire contents of your D1SKs? To experience the excitement of turning that last card and beating them by a handful of points... and then, taking that rare Ophisto or Rhamphyre off their hands, to their utter despair?! Now you can :)
Also known as 'Playing for Pinks', the concept comes from street racing and refers to a race where the winner receives the loser's car. The term comes from the slang 'pink slip', which is a reference to the official vehicle title certificate in some locations.
To play, select 'Winner Takes All' in the Entry Fee section of the Create Battle screen. Alternatively, you can choose to join a battle someone else has set up in the Battle Lobby screen. You will see 'Winner Takes All' on the right side, next to the 'Join' button.
When you match with your opponent and are ready to start your battle, you will both sign a transaction that will burn your D1SKs and escrow all the contained NFTs into a secure one-time use wallet, specific to that battle.
Play your battle as normal, then at the end the winnings - ALL THE NFTs - will be automatically transferred to the wallet of the person who kicked ass! There is no platform fee for WTA battles.
NOTE: Winner Takes All is only available to Ultra Pass holders. Buy your Ultra Pass here https://battleinthebeyond.io/liz-pass. The latest release of BITB supports in-game chat. Message your friends in the lobby to arrange your battles, or taunt your opponent with banter and emojis during a battle!
Click the chat bubble in the bottom right of the screen to open up the chat overlay. Click the 'X' button if you wish to close it.
There are many Lizard emojis available, but also two Ultra LizEmojis. Green George is available to all players, whereas Raven is available only to Ultra Pass holders.
If you are an OG Beyond player, you might have some Wave 1 D1SKs you still wish to battle, or open in SOLO mode.
Battle in the Beyond now supports all of Wave 1, Wave 2 and Wave 3 D1SKs. You can select the Wave on the Battle Create screen, if you wish to set up a battle using D1SKs that are not from the current Wave.
Note that only D1SKs opened from the current Wave count towards the leaderboards. For BITB Season 1, which correlates to Illuvium Beyond Wave 3, this runs from 21st Nov 2024 to Feb 22nd 2025.
Also note that Wave 1 Promo D1SKs are not supported.
